Anti-Piracy Policy

This Anti-Piracy Policy (the “Policy”) governs the authorized use, reproduction, and distribution of all digital and printed products, materials, and content offered by Lisa Stucky, doing business as Leading Lady Cipher (“we,” “us,” or “our”) through cards.leadingladycipher.com (the “Site”), including the energy empowerment card decks, Companion Guides, and Daily Empath Tips (collectively, the “Materials”). By purchasing, downloading, or otherwise accessing the Materials, you agree to be bound by this Policy.

1. Ownership

All Materials, including but not limited to text, artwork, card designs, symbols, illustrations, photographs, layouts, typography, source code, audio, video, and written content, are the exclusive property of Leading Lady Cipher and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in this Policy are reserved.

2. License granted to purchasers

Subject to full and continuing payment and continuous compliance with this Policy and our Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Materials solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This license is granted to a single individual end user and is tied to the account and email address under which the Materials were purchased.

3. Prohibited conduct

The following actions are strictly prohibited and constitute a material breach of this Policy:

• Reproducing, copying, scanning, photographing, screen-recording, screenshotting for redistribution, republishing, or otherwise duplicating the Materials in whole or in part.
• Distributing, transmitting, uploading, posting, emailing, sharing, gifting, lending, renting, leasing, sublicensing, selling, or reselling the Materials, whether for consideration or free of charge.
• Making the Materials available on any file-sharing service, peer-to-peer network, torrent site, cloud drive, forum, social media platform, membership site, learning-management system, Discord or similar server, or any other public or semi-public platform.
• Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with any access controls, account authentication, password protection, digital rights management, watermarking, or other security measures applied to the Materials or the Site.
• Sharing account credentials, login sessions, access links, or reset tokens with any third party.
• Creating derivative works from the Materials, including translations, adaptations, reformatted versions, printed reproductions, digital templates, apps, or artificial intelligence training datasets.
• Using the Materials, in whole or in part, in connection with any commercial offering, including paid readings, coaching programs, workshops, courses, retreats, memberships, or content marketed to third parties.
• Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright notice, trademark, watermark, attribution, or other proprietary marking on the Materials.

4. Permitted personal use

You may (a) view and use the Materials on devices you personally own or control; (b) print a single copy of a Companion Guide or Daily Empath Tips sheet for your personal, offline reference; and (c) reference short excerpts of the Materials in personal, non-commercial commentary, provided attribution is given to Empath Archetypes and a link to the Site is included where the medium reasonably permits.

5. Watermarking and traceability

Certain Materials may be encoded with visible or invisible watermarks, unique identifiers, or account-level fingerprints that permit us to trace the origin of any unauthorized copy back to the original purchaser. Attempting to remove, obscure, or alter such identifiers is a violation of this Policy and, where applicable, of 17 U.S.C. § 1202 (integrity of copyright management information).

6. Enforcement

We actively monitor for unauthorized distribution of the Materials. Where a violation is identified, we may pursue any or all of the following remedies, without prior notice and without limiting any other remedy available at law or in equity:

• Immediate suspension or termination of the offending account and revocation of all associated licenses, without refund.
• Issuance of takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and equivalent foreign statutes to hosting providers, marketplaces, social platforms, search engines, and payment processors.
• Reporting of the infringement to the offender’s internet service provider, employer, professional licensing body, and relevant law-enforcement authorities.
• Civil action seeking injunctive relief, actual damages, profits attributable to the infringement, statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work infringed (17 U.S.C. § 504(c)), costs, and attorneys’ fees.
• Referral for criminal prosecution under 17 U.S.C. § 506 and 18 U.S.C. § 2319 where the infringement is willful and meets the applicable statutory thresholds.

7. Reporting infringement

If you become aware of any actual or suspected unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the Materials, notify us at hello@leadingladycipher.com with the subject line “Anti-Piracy Report” and include a description of the alleged infringement, the URL or location where the Materials are available, and any evidence (such as screenshots) reasonably necessary to substantiate the report. We treat all reports confidentially.

8. DMCA counter-notice

If you believe that Materials attributed to you have been the subject of an erroneous or wrongful takedown notice, you may submit a counter-notice pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) to the address in Section 11. Counter-notices must contain all elements required by the DMCA and will be processed in accordance with the statute.

9. Territorial scope

This Policy applies to all users of the Site and the Materials worldwide. The Materials are protected under United States copyright law and by the terms of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, the Universal Copyright Convention, the WIPO Copyright Treaty, the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS), and other international treaties to which the United States is a party.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time. Material amendments will be effective upon posting to the Site, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Continued access to or use of the Materials after the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
